The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

We are now looking for a resource reinforcement for our operational area that includes Ekekullen, Kungsäter, and Videbo special accommodations.

The position is primarily located at Ekekullen, where you will be part of the regular operations. At the same time, the assignment is intended to give you a broad overall picture of the area, and therefore, an introduction and shadowing are also planned at Kungsäter and Videbo.

If necessary, you may also support the other special accommodations within the operational area, but the majority of your working hours will be allocated to Ekekullen.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a care assistant with us means being an important part of people's everyday lives. You will use your care and commitment to make a difference every day. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to creating safety, continuity, and good care for individuals who need support, whether at home, in a special accommodation, group home, or within social psychiatry.

As a care assistant, you provide support in daily living to individuals in need of care. This can involve assistance with personal care, meals, transfers, and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The work is based on individual implementation plans and aims to strengthen the individual's independence and participation.

You will work closely with colleagues and other professionals, and it is included to document efforts according to applicable guidelines. The role requires good communication, flexibility, and a professional approach always with the user's needs in focus.

The work is scheduled both during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in the role, you need to be confident in yourself, have a respectful attitude, and want to contribute to a good work environment. You need to be meticulous, service-oriented, and able to adapt to different people's needs.

The work requires good cooperation skills, but also that you can take responsibility and work independently. It is important that you are attentive, aware of changes, and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in everyday life. You need to have the ability to document in digital systems according to applicable routines.

We also see that you have:

• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• B driver's license, if required by the operation.

Experience in elderly care, functional support, and/or social psychiatry is an advantage.
